pull the toilet. Make sure the trap is clear on the toilet, and then snake the toilet line.
You CAN'T have a p-trap under the toilet! The p-trap is built into the toilet!

The ONLY places any toilet can leak is between tank and bowl, or between bowl and floor.
If it is coming from the tank: NO. If it coming from the bowl: YES!
Sounds like the wax gasket is leaking or a crack in the bowl. Is the floor dry.
You can build a platform to raise the toilet enough to connect to it or get a wall mount toilet and frame a wall to hang it from.
This could be an indication of a blockage or you may need to install more venting lines.
