Put the hose on the low side port on the accumulator smaller port] start car turn can upside down ,after pressure in system builds up compressor will kick on. Should have a sticker on heater box that tells you how much feon system holds. But if feon is gone you probably has a leak.

The Freon recharge port can be found on the top of the air conditioner compressor. There will be two ports. The recharge port will be labeled as the low pressure port.
The recharge is located right beside the radiator cap. There should be a green Cap on and it should be labeled AC recharge.
