How do you recharge air conditioning with freon in a 1993 pontiac grand prix?
I had a 1994, and the cans you buy in the store will not fit it, and most small shops don't have the adapter. So you can either find a shop that has the adapter, which I was told will cost extra, or try to find a auto parts store that sales the adapter.
It will have R134a...which you can buy without a license at any parts store. At the very least buy a recharge hose with a gauge so you can tell when you've got the right amount in it. It would be a good idea to check the system for leaks before putting a bunch of freon in it only to have it leak right back out.
