there is no distributor on a 98 rav. therefore no cap or rotor. replace the plugs and wires and the tuneup is done
NO
first remember the order of the wires. then individually remove the wires then take a extension with a 5/8 sparklug soacket and loosen it.
The Toyota Camry used distributors in its engines up to 1996. Just follow the spark plug wires. They will lead right to the distributor.
Check the pickup inside the distributor and see if its OK. Do you have spark at the ignition coil? Check the wires. Or the cap and rotor assy.
One reason why fuel and temperature gauges would stop working on a 1992 Toyota Corolla would be a short in the wires. This would lead to a blown fuse. Check the fuse and replace it.
its under the distributor cap. its black and is held to the distributor with 4 Phillips screws. there are 2 studs for the control wires.
