There are a couple of reasons why a Jeep Wrangler may be sputtering. There could be a problem with the sensors or a problem with the fuel lines.

torque converter maybe or fried plugs and wires distributor, timing might be off
Your pressure washer sounds as if it has an air lock. You need to run your pressure washer, full blast, and aim it towards the sky until the sputtering stops. That should take care of this problem.
Problem in the injectors. Put a can of injector cleaner in the gas and see if it helps.
i would check out the injector pump. it is a common problem with that model cummings.
