How do you register a website on search engine?

When we talk about search engines, there are practically thousands out there. But basically when it comes to getting your website submitted to search engine/s then...what?? the answer everyone knows I presume. That's Google, Yahoo and MSN. These 3 are considered the world's best, mostly used, mostly visited search engines. They practically dominate all the web's search market.

Those less known search engines such as aol, altavista, alexa, alltheweb and bla bla bla all depend on either Google or Yahoo Search Results using their API codes and of course making money every time someone uses their search services.

Google obviously is the leader in the search market. They pay a part of their revenue to thousands of other so called dependent search engine sites. They use Google Search API codes known as "Adsense" and each time a search is made from the dependent site, a part of their revenue is shared. These funds are originated by the Google Advertisers using Google Adword system.

Therefore, based on my knowledge and experience, I would suggest you to consider submitting you website to only these three search engines. The rest is done automatically which means, your site could come in the Search Results of AOL, Altavista automatically through google network.
