3.3 engine trying to put new belt on Power Steering pump
It is important to know what type of steering fluid to put in their car. A 2001 Chrysler Town and Country will use ATF+4 fluid for power steering fluid.
There is only one belt on a 1999 Chrysler Town and Country.
The power steering reservoir is on the top of the engine, centered under the hood.
The power steering pump is on the top, rear, passenger side of the engine.
It does not have a drain plug.
most likely low power steering fluid level or the level was low and took out the pump.
The power steering is not adjustable.
It is important to know how to add fluids to a car. Power Steering fluid is added to the container under the hood, that is capped with a yellow lid that says "Power Steering".

The power steering pressure switch, on a 1993 Chrysler New Yorker, is located below the power steering pump. The pressure switch is attached to the power steering reservoir mounting bracket.

A 2013 Chrysler uses power steering fluid +4, or ATF+4.

A good quality power steering fluid from any auto parts store will work. If you are not near a store with power steering fluid you can substitute a good tranmission fluid for Chrysler vehicles. BE CAREFUL AND CHECK THE YEAR , ACCORDING TO CHRYSLER'S 1985 MANUAL, NEVER , NEVER, NEVER USE TRANSMISSION FLUID IN THE POWER STEERING PUMP, POWER STEERING FLUID ONLY.
