Locate the fuel pump electrical connection. Disconnect it, then start the engine and run it until it stalls. Detach the negative cable from the battery (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RADIO ANTI-THEFT CODE BEFORE DOING THIS). Open the fuel filler door and unscrew the fuel filler cap. Open the fuel line at the filter location to relieve any built-up pressure. You will probably have to wrap the fittings with a shop rag as you do this to absorb any fuel that may run out of the line. Remove the old filter and re-install the new one.
