I just did this last night on my 2003 ~ one of them was corroded in place and I had to clean the corrosion off before the pin would pull out. Use a small cleaning brush or old toothbrush to get in there and clean out as much grunge as you can before trying to pull the pin. Once you can get it to move, you can use a pair of vice grips to get it out, or perhaps lightly tap with a small hammer on the outboard side. In any case, clean them really well before you install.
