I just did this last night on my 2003 ~ one of them was corroded in place and I had to clean the corrosion off before the pin would pull out. Use a small cleaning brush or old toothbrush to get in there and clean out as much grunge as you can before trying to pull the pin. Once you can get it to move, you can use a pair of vice grips to get it out, or perhaps lightly tap with a small hammer on the outboard side. In any case, clean them really well before you install. Good luck.
how do i remove the brake rotors for a 2003 Toyota tacoma v6 2wd
the tacoma has calipers on front.
9mm on front 7mm on back
Jack up car, remove wheel, remove brake caliber. the rotor will pull right off
raise auto and place jack stands under auto, remove tire , unloosen the caliber bolts, remove caliber, take out front brake pad and use a C clamp to push the pistons back into the caliber, remove rear brake pad and install new pads and place caliber back and bolt on and then pump brakes until they are hard again
A grinding noise in the wheel will either be caused by worn brake pads, or a defective wheel bearing. Remove the left front wheel and inspect brake pads. If the brake pads are OK, you will need to remove the caliber and inspect the wheel bearing.
Remove the line and replace it. Then make sure to keep the master cylinder full while you & a helper bleed the front brake caliber. Be sure and use brake line tools and not open-end wrenches or you will damage the brake lines.
= What tool to remove a front brake pads on a 2007? =
Take it to shop
You bring it to the Toyota dealership and pay them to fix it.
Jack up car, remove front wheel, remove the 2 bolts attaching the caliber to the brake mounting (helps to loosen the pads by wedging a screw driver between pads and hydraulic arm). Slide the old pads out, cover the back of new pads with copper greece and re-assemble brake.
