1: Click on the "Tools" tab on the top of the screen.
2: Go to "Options."
3: Go to the "General" tab if not already on it.
4: Set the home page to whatever you want it to be.
This appears to be a Mozilla Firefox issue as I have this problem only with Firefox. I do not have this problem with I.E.I have not upgraded my Firefox version in several months so that is what I am going to do as a first step toward solving this problem.
Simple they are: Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera.
In this instance, it seems as though AOL is set up as your default internet provider and web browser. Change your default browswer to Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Opera, or Safari.
You can not make Runescape your homepage on AOL. I have a couple of friends and some relatives who play Runescape and can not make it their home page on AOL.
To Have access to AOL Favorites in Mozilla: Method 1: Download the AOL tool bar from http://toolbar.aol.com/?ncid=AOLAOF00020000001019 and download the toolbar while you are on firefox. In the right corner of the toolbar will be a sign in box, sign in, and then press "shift + ctrl+f", without the quotations or from the top menu "View, Sidebars, AOL Favorite Plus. This will give you access to AOL favorites when signed on. Method 2: Go to myaol.com and sign in. Next, go to the "favorites tab." --If you then want the favorites without signing on, again, then press "ctrl+D" to put the website in your Mozilla Bookmarks (Favorites). Method 3: Spend $30 on a retarded product that does this for you. Please ignore this method, it is a waste of money.
Netscape, AOL, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox
As more customers were connecting to the internet using AOL's internet services, AOL became more and more popular. AOL first launched its homepage in 1995 after successfully launching their instant messaging service.
On the AOL homepage, one can find the latest news in politics, entertainment, sports, weather, and more. The page also contains a link that connects you to your AOL email inbox.
To switch back to the old AOL homepage, go to the new AOL homepage and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Look for a link or option that says “Switch to Classic” or “Return to Old AOL.” Click on it, and the page should reload to the classic version. If you don’t see the option, it may no longer be available as AOL frequently updates its interface.

To remove AOL Price Check, open your web browser and go to the extensions or add-ons section. Look for AOL Price Check in the list of installed extensions, then select it and click "Remove" or "Uninstall." Additionally, check your browser settings to ensure that it is not set as your homepage or default search engine. Finally, restart your browser to complete the removal process.
AOL used to be a service provider of dial-up internet and is now a search provider (much like Google or Bing) while providing various small-time software packages and a customisable homepage. The browser you use, whether it is IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera or otherwise, has nothing at all to do with your provider or any costs related to it.
