How do you remove a 1995 Chrysler new yorker's headlight?
Loosen the screws of the lower grill and headlamp assembly so that it can be removed from the fenders. Remove the upper grill fasteners and remove the grill. Take off the headlight housing. Remove the headlamp motor and housing. Take out the headlight. Now the fender can be unbolted and removed.

You cannot remove it. It is turned "off" by unlocking either front door with the key.

I've alway replaced the headlight by just turning on the headlights so they will open up. Then remove the plastic shrourd from around the headlight by removing the Phillips screw on the side of the shroud that is towards the center of the hood and carefully prying the other side of the shroud loose from the headlight. The headlight housing has a torque spit, located just above the housing itself, under the hood, remove this and the housing should come out, just twist the harness and pull the bulb out and replace.
You remove them one at a time, and install the new one the same way.

remove 5 screws holding windshield. remove whole headlight assembly. take flash light and look in headlight opening and find 4 nuts holding fairing to mounting brackets-2 nuts per side.. remove nuts. then remove your light bar-2 bolts per side..disconnect harness for light bar from inside fairing..remove fairing
first remove the bracket over the top of the light, should take a Phillips head screwdriver. second remove the upper adjustment screw bracket from the radiator frame using a needle nose pliers. Then using a needel nose plires squeeze the retaining clip on the lowere adusting screw while pulling out on the headlight.

1995 and before, you pull out the top. 1996 and later the engine and transmission come out the bottom at the same time.
Remove the headlight door (that is the chrome trim around the headlight/parking-turn lens) to gain access to the bulb. You may need to push down on the bumper to get to the bottom screw. Once you have access just push and twist the bulb to remove.
remove the plastic shield and unbolt two scres and the entire lens comes out don't touch the glass of the new bulb
pull the complete headlight assembly out and then you can get to the build in the back of the headlight.

Actually you can do it yourself... but you have to have a special kind of pliers (called "snapring pliers")to remove the metal retainers(2 on each side of the headlight assembly) that attach the assembly to the grille opening panel. They're cheap and you can get them at your local auto store.
I don't know about 95, but on the 94, you have to take out the whole light assembly from the front. Take off the cover inside the hood from the top, expose the headlight bolts, remove the headlight. Good lucK!

The headlight fuse located on a 1995 Chevy Tahoe is under the hood. It is located in the fuse box on the passenger side.
Open the hood and you will see two T15 screws on each side of the headlight lens (bulb housing) which act as the hinges remove the two screws, pull the bulb housing out and unplug the bulb. replace new bulb houseing in reverse.
