FIRST REMOVE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE FROM BATTERY AND WAIT 10 MINUTES. Next, rotate the steering wheel so the steering wheel posts are at 12 and 6 o'clock. From behind the top post you will find an opening (may require a mirror). Inside the opening there is a retaining clip that you need to spread open to release one side. Use a small screw driver and gently apply pulling pressure, you will feel the air bag release on that side. Now rotate the wheel 180 degrees to bring the other post on top and do the same thing. The air bag is now released and can be pulled out far enough to unplug wire connection. To assemble just plug harness back in and snap the air bag back in place THEN reconnect the battery.
