For my 97 Bravada, the standard signal and flasher relays were located under a lower dash panel near the cigarette lighter. Once you remove the panel, the flashers also have two retaining clips holding each flasher in. They are interchangeable if you need to temporarily disable the warning flasher in order to have signal lights. Quite awkward to get at, but replacement is simply unplugging the old flasher, and plugging in a new one.
To change out the flasher unit on a Holden Astra you must remove the back panel of the rear unit and access the bulbs. If the bulb in the flasher is not broken then you may need to replace the flasher relay system.
Yep, this is a hard one to find. It is located BEHIND THE CENTER OF INSTRUMENT PANEL.
Remove the panel under steering wheel. There will be 2 flashers. Replace one on right.
It is possible to set off the airbag when replacing the flasher so it is a good idea to disconnect the battery before attempting to replace the flasher. The Flasher is located below the steering column on the right hand side near the gas pedal. You must remove the driver side panel under the steering column. The flasher has a black cover over it which is twice the size of the flasher. When you remove the cover (which may also have electrical tape on it)you will notice two components. Unless the flasher has been replaced with an after market part it will be blue. The area is very tight and it may take alittle effort to remove. Once out exchange, cover, tape and replace panel.
It is located in the fuel tank on the top. Unless there is a access panel somewhere inside the vehicle, you will have to remove the tank in order to get to the pump. Be sure to also replace the fuel filter.
If you are refering to the turn signal flasher, you have to remove the driver side lower dash panel. It is not hard to do, the flasher is located on the back of the fuse box. I have not tried to get to it without removing the panel, but it may be possible. There is also a retainign clip on the flasher that you have to remove to get the flasher out.
Access indicator flasher under instrument panel left of steering column. Remove screw retaining indicator flasher to instrument panel. Disconnect connector from indicator flasher and remove indicator flasher from vehical. I am also trying to find flasher on 1997 t bird. I hear it but cant find it- Help please
to gain access to the 4-way and signal flashers you need to remove the plastic lower dash panel, they are behind it.
It is inside the panel under steering wheel column. You have to remove the panel, it has two screws. turn signal flasher is on right side clipped to metal brace, the emergency flasher is on the left side attached the same way. Not hard to replace, just not much room to work. firstname.lastname@example.org
The flasher unit is contained inside the hazard light swith on the dash. You need to remove the dash panel and pull the switch out from behind. The entire switch must be replaced which is about - at a Chevy dealer.
Remove door panel, remove 4 screws, remove speaker, put new speaker in, replace screws, replace door panel. Done.
