Where is the flasher on a 2000 Ford Expedition you need to replace it?

It is possible to set off the airbag when replacing the flasher so it is a good idea to disconnect the battery before attempting to replace the flasher. The Flasher is located below the steering column on the right hand side near the gas pedal. You must remove the driver side panel under the steering column. The flasher has a black cover over it which is twice the size of the flasher. When you remove the cover (which may also have electrical tape on it)you will notice two components. Unless the flasher has been replaced with an after market part it will be blue. The area is very tight and it may take alittle effort to remove. Once out exchange,cover,tape and replace panel.
