There is no R1150s. There is R1150R, RS, RT, GS.
Disconnect the battery, remove the spark plug cables, and remove the old spark plugs. Put in the new spark plugs, attached the spark plug cables, and connect the battery.
i dont no
Just did this tonite.. unhook battery, remove the glove box, and door..remove the center of the dasy that covers the speedo etc.. remove the rt AC vent so you can see down on the rt side..remove the rt kick panel.. i removed the ac controller just to get it out of the way.. on the rt side cowl there is a vaccum motor you must disconnect. then on the rt side you will see the vent motor with 6 screws around it.. you then remove that assembly..with this removed you will see the motor unplug wire and remove the one screw holding the assembly.. then reach in and turn the motor counter clockwise...and gently remove the blower assembly.. reverse the process to install new motor

Pull out the battery and battery tray. It is on the firewall right below.
1) Unlock and remove the bike's seat 2) Pull out the tool box (if your RT still has one) You should be looking down at the battery at this point. 3) Remove the side covers by un-tensioning the rubber bands that cross over or around the battery and set them aside 4) Unscrew the knurled knobs of the battery hold-down frame and pull it away Now you've removed (most of) the things in the way. It's still a tight fit and your bike may have a wire bundle running over the left side of the battery that will make things difficult 5) Unscrew the pos and neg leads on the top of the battery and bundle them so you don't forget which wires go with which lead 6) pull out the battery To put a new battery in, reverse all the above.
disconnect the battery to shut off/reset
A BMW RT-P is specially made for Police departments all over the world. The "P" in the model name stands for Police. It has a larger generator and beefed up suspension. A friend of mine just got an '04 with 5000 miles on it. All white. Absolutely gorgeous bike!
A = Automatic C = Convertible i = injected L = Long Wheel Base M = Motorsport RT = Reise Tourer (BMW Motorrad) P = Police / Authority (BMW Motorrad) X = All Wheel Drive td = Turbo Diesel K = Sport Touring (BMW Motorrad) Z = Zunkuft or Future
I would estimate about 75-80 miles via rt 81 and 177.
