92 and 93 should be the same I believe. If this is correct the first thing I do is remove the plug that it as the end of the panel towards the lock then remove the screw and the mirror cover near the hinges (inside). Then I take a rubber mallet if the door panel has never been remove and tap it from the bottom to loosen it up. Then sliding it straight up and not away it will come out.
hi hello
There can be hundreds of reasons. You have to remove the door panel and the power door mechanism.
Should be able to access after removing inner door panel
take all screws out and pull out around the edges, should pop out, then lift up by the window
To remove the interior door panel you first want to unscrew and remove the interior door handle, hand hold, and mirror adjustment cover. Then you also need to remove the power door lock switch which you can pop out with a flat blade screwdriver. Once everything has been removed, you want to carefully pop the plastic inserts. The interior panel is pretty much completely held on by those little plastic "push pins." To remove the exterior door panel you must first remove the exterior door handle. To do this you have to remove these little plastic pins on the underside. Once they are removed, you lift up on the handle and slide it left or right to remove. Once this is done you must also loosen the mirror by taking off the inside cover and there should be three nuts that need to be loosened. Then you must locate and remove all of the torx-head screws that attach the door panel to the door.
There is a fuse panel hidden under the dash on the passenger side, you have to remove the kick panel to access it, the fuse for the power locks is located there.
Its not really a tough job. Once you have removed the panel, you will see what you have to do. Just be careful of all the wires.
Door speaker removal 90 Toyota CressidaI am currently doing this job. To remaove the door panel first remove the armrest which is attached with three large Phillips screws, a regular #2 screwdriver will work nicely. You will need to unplug each switch before you can remove the armrest. Once the armrest is off, there is another screw that holds the panel to the door in the front part of the area exposed by it's removal. Next remove a small screw that holds the doorpull/handle surround and remove. Just below the mirror trim peice is a small triangular panel that needs to popped out to gain access to another retaning screw. After this, take a flat, thin putty knife (or something similar) and slide it between the door panel and the door. There are expansion/friction type clips that hold the panel to the door. Pop these by prying the panel out. You will have to remove the inside trim for the door mirror by just sliding something thin under an edge and popping it out. Once you have done the above the door panel will lift up and off of the door. The speaker is mounted to the door in a mounting bracket with four screws. Remove those and disconnect the power lead. The speaker is held to the bracket with four screws. This should be the same for model years 89-92.
The spring holding the door button in place has fallen out. Remove the door handle and replace.
Remove inside trim panel (incl. around the window) With a light you'll see 2 12mm nut at the back of the door handle There a small metal clip that hold the rod to the handle
not exactly sure if its the same as a 92 subaru svx but if it is then there are 2 screws on the far right and one in the place you put your hand. then lift up and it should come right off.
take the front insterment panel off and there is two bolts that holds the radio in.
