Scenic fuel cap locks operate with the door system - it's a security thing - if you use the remote to unlock your doors then you will find the fuel flap will open. Of course it will lock when you use the remote to lock the doors.
The fuses are found ( at least on My 2001 version ) behind a plastic flap which can be pulled out just under the dash on the right hand side, This holds most of the fuses
Scenic 1.. Inside the rear wing, there are 2 X 10mm nut. Normally covered in road crud. Clean them first and the saturate in wd-40. Leave a while and then undo. If the front of the bolt starts to spin on the inside of the filler flap, you have to either tear the plastic apart to grip the bolt or get creative with pliers.
The pump is the fuel injection system of an internal combustion chamber enginewhose pump plunger and barrel are a very closed laps fit to minimized leakage
Depends on what Renault it is, there are lots of models with different methods. Scenic has battery under drivers seat(gel battery)or under bonnet(lead acid battery). The clio is under the bonnet , under a plastic flap just under the windscreen. To remove the battery , there is a clamp down the side of the battery clamping it ti the battery tray, remove this, then disconnect the terminals then lift battery out. Always remove the EARTH lead FIRST, posative second. When refitting posative first, EARTH lead LAST. Hope this helps
in the top of the glove compartment you can see a fold down flap being held in place by 2 clips. Release clips and fuse board drops down. Cigarette lighter fuse is on this board.
there is a three dollar metal flap that u put on the door u must remove the flap and place the meatal spring and put the door bak on only four screws very easy
Hi, there are two, one is behind a flap on the end of the dashboard, accessible when you open the drivers door. Another is under the bonnet near the battery, it has a plastic cover over it. On the new Renault Laguna, known as the Lagune 3, the fusebox is in the glove box, behind a little flap that pulls down.
if you still have the old one and it has simply fallen off then hold it up to the hinge in the open position and from the top use a flat bladed screwdriver to prise open the strong metal spring clip that holds it in place. As you open the spring clip gently manoeuvre the flap back into position and you will feel the spring clip grip the flap back into position. If you have broken the flap and have a new or second hand part to fit then you simply undo the bolts that hold the hinge to the body and re secure your replacement flap.If your old flap is stuck in the closed position and the electric motor that unlocks the flap is not working then look inside the small compartment on the drivers side in the boot space and you will find the manual release mechanism.Good luck.
Look in the wheel arches looking towards the rear of the car at about centre of the tyre height, there is a plastic piece , normally square and held by screws, remove this and there is a rubber flap, Tilt upwards with screwdriver this will release the trapped water/debris. In fact cut them off with a Stanley knife, and refit the plastic cap with the screws. My scenic used to be drenched rear and front till I did this little modification!
In this model there will be a flap either on the end or in the front. Push this flap up and the mirror will push out.
