First you disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Point the wheels straight ahead. Pry out padded cap carefully, then disconnect the wire to the horn. Remove the nut and washer. Pull steering wheel upward and off. Be careful as you do this.

∙ 12y agopull the plastic horn button from the steering wheel by lightly tugging on the four ends. you will see a nut down in the steering wheel. i used a 1 1/16" socket and an extention to remove the nut. unplug the wiring going to the steering column and ignition switch. lightly pull the steering wheel towards you. once the steering wheel is removed you will see the turn signal canceling came, windshield washer switch, and windshield wiper switch. its all one peice. you remover the four screws that hold it down then VERY LIGHTLY pull the whole assembly out. be careful not to brake the plastic housing. once that is out of the way you will see two screws to the right that hold down the ignition switch hold down. remove them the key will have to be in the ignition switch and in the on position. now just lightly tug the switch out. not so bad right? ;) it really is easier than it sounds. just do the reverse to put it all back together. good luck!
