you would have to remove the harddrive which is actually very easy You CANNOT just transfer the hard drive. The ps3 will format the new hard drive therefore erasing all data on the drive.

Remove all wires attached to the transfer case. Remove the driveshafts. Drain the fluid out of the transfer case. Place a transmission jack under the transfer case. Unbolt the transfer case from the transmission. Unbolt the crossmember the transfer case rests on.
If you are certain the tstat is the problem, remove it and connect a jumper between the terminals R and W and the heat will start. Remove the jumper when the house warms up. Replace the stat.

The proper way to use jumper cables to boost a low/dead battery: (1) one end of positive jumper cable to "dead" battery; (2) opposite end of positive jumper cable to "good" battery; (3) one end of negative jumper cable to "good" battery; (4) opposite end of negative jumper cable to GROUND on "dead" vehicle. Remove jumper cables in reverse order.
Many Fords of that vintage required that a jumper be placed on a socket near the distributor. Without the jumper in place it's not possible to change the timing of the engine. Install the jumper, set the timing with a timing light THEN remove the jumper and it should stay. You'll need to get a reference manual to identify the jumper location and to determine the proper timing advance settings.
You can try to remove the iron on with a cotton ball that has been soaked in alcohol. If that does not work, you can try using an iron at a low heat to loosen the glue that holds it down. Scrape it off. Use a clean cloth between the iron and the jumper to try to remove some of the adhesive.
