I am not quite sure but maybe you could try and pry it out if you havnt tried that yet if that doesnt work, try putting something either really slimy or really smooth and rub it all over and inside the key and key holder and then try prying it out I have encountered this problem on numerous occasions. Have you tried a lubricating agent? This may decrease the force of friction between the key and the ignition thus rendering the removal of said item possible. If not just give it a good old yank, the key that is. Hope this helps

To remove a key that is stuck in the ignition on a Peugeot 406 HDI, make sure that the car is in park. Then try to remove the key. If this does not work, spray the ignition mechanism with WD-40 after pulling out the key as far as possible. Then work the key in and out until it comes out.
Use the opportunity to replace the ignition. Key needs to be in On position for removal.
There should be a lock on the ignition a push button that you push and turn to remove the key

Well, it sounds like the chip that is in your key may have broke or got stuck on a part of the ignition. I had that problem. This happened not long after I had had to have the ignition replaced?!?

If your 300zx has no power to the entire car and the key is stuck in the ignition you have to press the emergency button located in the ignition. Simply remove the black piece from your ignition.(its a black cap)..and when removed you will see a small red button..if you see that push that and press the "push" black button, turn your key and pop it out.
