If you have purchased a replacement radio, there will be thin spades in the pack (about 4 inches long - like ice cream sticks). Slide one of these in on each side between the radio unit and the car body. This action will press back the pressure clips that are retaining the radio. With a little tug the old radio should come out. An alternative to the spades would be thin knives but do not slide them in more than 3 inches.
