I've only done this on a standard, so hopefully it helps, Step 1: Locate the 2 upside down gray screws above radio. Remove them with a Phillips screwdriver. Push bottom of the upper air vents in so you can grab hold of the trim piece. Give it a good pull but only pull it out about 2" Just pull it out enough to cause the trim around the shifter to pop loose.
Step 2: Remove the now loose trim from around the shifters, that piece is only held in place with pressure clips.
Step 3: Once the shifter trim is removed you will be able to see 2 more gray screws holding the radio and AC unit surround that the other trim piece was covering. Remove those 2 screws to free the trim.
Step 4: To completely remove the surround you will have to disconnect the power outlet and the hazard light switch. The power outlet is relatively easy to get to, just push on the little release tab with the tip of a screwdriver to release. The hazard switch can be a bit awkward to get at. You will see a small white rectangle on the top rear of the switch. Push in firmly with the tip of a screwdriver and wiggle the plug free. Don't forget to plug these back in when you put it all back together! As I have found the hard way your turn signals don't work when the hazard plug is not connected."
Step 5: There are 4 screws holding the stereo in place. Unscrew those and pull the stereo out. Unplug the wires from the back and you're done.
