It's pretty simple, just disconnect the wiring to the license plate light, and disconnect any wiring harness routing clips from the bumper. Then you remove the 3 bolts from each side that hold the bumper to the frame rails. I would estimate that it's about a 30 minute job if you're mechanically inclined. If you find that the nuts are too rusted to remove, spend $5-10 on a nut splitter (every mechanic should own one anyways) and replace the nuts and bolts later. After removing the nuts and before removing the bolts, you may wish to have a friend help you support and remove the bumper.
