Do you get a NO BUS That lights up on your mileage light?
The gross weight of a 1969 Volkswagen Bus is 2,723 pounds. The VW Bus was produced between 1968 and 1971.
Yes, but you need to remove both axles, which is really simple to do,takes about 15 min if you have tools.
Bi-directional universal switch (BUS)............
low
Switch off the ignition and hold IN the reset stalk under the speedo Switch on the ignition the release the stalk. Then TURN the stalk from under the taco clockwise and hold in position. Horizontal dashes should appear in the odometer. Finally switch off the ignition whilst holding the taco stalk in the clockwise position. The system has now been reset. When you switch on the ignition the service message should be cleared. Not a job for a one armed person ! Let us know if this works as I have never used this method. The first method I understand will work with or reset the CAN-BUS to the "fixed servicing interval" mode ?on the release the stalk. Then TURN the stalk from under the taco clockwise and hold in position. Horizontal dashes should appear in the odometer. Finally switch off the ignition whilst holding the taco stalk in the clockwise position. The system has now been reset. When you switch on the ignition the service message should be cleared.
No bus is shorth for No Buss, you are missing a fuse that controls the ignition.
On the Buses - 1969 The 'L' Bus 4-6 is rated/received certificates of: UK:PG (video rating) (2002)
Yes.
If you take the assembly out, there'll be a slot in that assembly where you can insert a pick or other small tool, and that should release the tumbler. It'll come right out once you've done that.
