There are two bolts that hold it on i think they are 10mm, pull the coolant reservoir out of the way to help gain access, that has one bolt and a clip.
show me a diagram of how to change my serpetine belt on my 96 olds LSType your answer here...
find tentioner pull counter clockwise. this will relive presure/remove belt. Reinstall
look for the roller on an arm when turning the bolt to loosen it tilts and releases pressure off the belt for removal
if ur talking about a serpetine belt u remove the old one by releasing the tension on the belt by put a 1/2 drive ratchet into the tensioner pully and release the tension on the belt and remove it then follow the diagram on how to run the belt and then pull the tensioner and place belt with that pully into the pully drive run and then release and ur new belt is on
its a harry pickle like brooklen
need a diagram on how a serpetine belt goes on
You can see the serpentine belt diagram from the 2000 Ford Focus online at places like Focus Fanatics. You can also find this diagram at Go Parts.
Remove the serpentine belt and remove the alternator. The belt tensioner bolts are under the alternator.
See the answer for "How do you replace the drive belt in a 2000 Ford Focus?". The procedure is the same.
The long rubber belt, full circle that goes around the pully's in engine compartment?
Serpetine not timing. Locate the belt tensioner. Place a 1/2" pull handle in the square hole of the tensioner. Pull so that the tensioner rotates counter clockwise. This should remove the tension and allow for the belt to be removed(may need an extra set of hands).
there should be a diagram right under the hood on how to route the belt
