Really need to know make/model/trim to give a more accurate description... but in general.
Remove the trim around the shifter, remove shift knob and same with transfer case shifter(if manual).. Then you need to lift the vehicle, may need to remove the exhaust system if V8(like on BMW's), disconnect any cooler lines, sensor/wires. Disconnect/ strap out of the way or remove the driveshafts. Unbolt remove the transfer case from the transmission. Unbolt the torque converter, and with the trans supported with a trans jack, unbolt the trans mount/cross member. Place a jack stand under the front of the motor to help support/tilt it to make it simpler to remove the transmission. Next you will need to unbolt the bell housing and wiggle/pry the transmission off the engine. Then swap trans/torque converter, would flush any coolers/lines. Follow steps in reverse to reinstall, check fluid following manufacturer's specs.

Place a drip pan beneath your 1995 Mercedes Benz automatic transmission. Remove the automatic transmission drain plug. Allow the transmission fluid to drain out. Replace the drain plug to its original position. Fill the transmission with new fluid.
Remove the transmission. Remove the clutch plate and springs. Remove the clutch. Reverse the process to install the new clutch.

The speed sensor is in the engine compartment on a 1995 Nissan Sentra GXE automatic transmission. It is on the back of the transmission.

if it's an automatic you can replace it with any accent automatic transmission from 1995 to 1999, you will have to change the neutral safety switch on the transmission on some trans. cheers!!!!!
