if the Dakota doesnt have power windows or locks you need to pop off the window roller, they sell a tool that will make it alot easier but if you don't get the tool you can take a dish wrag and slide it around the window nob until it catches the clip and pops off. then you should be able to lift the door panel right off. a bit hard to explain but make sure you don't lose any of the parts from the window handle
going from last post. there is two t-25 torx bits one in the door handle and the other in the door pull. theres three p2 screws. two at the bottom and one at the mirror cover. remover all 5 in total. than just pull the panel up and out. than disconnect the door latch. the doors ask for a oversized 6 1/2 speaker. use the original spacer to give you more clearance for better speakers.

A 2003 Dodge Dakota does not have a cabin filter.
On 2000 Dakota Sport you lower the tailgate and there are 2 Phillips head screws that you remove and the whole tail light module comes out. You can then remove the bulb socket and replace the bulb. On my 2002 Dakota Quad Cab there are 2 torx screws.

You have remove panels where the speakers are. And not just any speakers will fit same holes. I bought the Sony Explode the small ones that fit the size from a seller from E-Bay. They are wonderful compare to the factory ones. You can actually hear the voice and sound come out of them. But make sure to get the right size or they won't fit into the hole.
