remove the seat, place the battery into the holder, connect the drip tube, connect the battery connectors
The battery box has a bottom hinge. Just remove the 2-10mm bolts, 1 on each side, and slide the battery out the bottom.
Accessing the battery on a Suzuki Savage 650 involves removing the plastic cover to expose the battery. This can be removed by hand without the use of tools. To remove the battery a standard wrench is needed.
The battery is inside the floor pan on the right side. Undo the single screw and then slide out the battery.
Its under the rider's seat. You have to remove th seat.
I have a 2007 and it did'nt come with one. The shiny plastic chrome "air cleaner" on the right side of the engine centered in the Vee is it. Remove one screw on the left lower side (when facing it) and the cover lifts off.
The battery is located under the seat. You will need to remove 2 bolts to get access to the 2 bolts that hold the seat.
on the bottom of the motorcycle a door open to drop the battery down. loosen the bolt on the side ...but be careful the battery will drop down .
remove the seat first (key in the side of the bike). you should then be able to get to the battery. if my memory serves me correctly you should then be able to pull the battery terminals and the battery strap, and pull the battery out!
