Gently pry down on the four 2 1/2 by 4 inch air deflectors and turn them to remove them. Be careful they are fragile and have small plastic posts they turn on. There are four screws in the tops of the openings you can remove with a #15 star driver. Remove the other similar screws holding the trim around the instruments and the glove compartment. The trim will pull out revealing the larger screws fastening the lower part of the dashboard. To remove the upper dashboard you need to first remove the four inch plastic trim that is next to the windshield that has the louvers where defrost aid comes out. Look closely at the ends of the louvers along the windshield. There is a 1 1/2 inch by three inch filler that looks much like the louvers but is solid with a small 1/2 inch slot in it. Carefully pry it out of the long plastic trim and you will see a #15 star screw on each end that holds the defrost trim and covers the warning lights on the top of the dash. Once the defrost louver trim is released you will see screws holding the top of the dash to the braces below. Now you have access to the radio and the heater box panel facing the seat you can remove to get out that mouse nest you have been smelling for months or to replace the heater core.
Its located behind the dash on the passenger's side.

First remove the woodgrain trim on the dash by carefully uncliping it, and then removing the wires for the heated seats and passenger climate control. Then open up the drivers door and unclip the panel on the end of the dash(which has an air duct for the door) Then remove the 7mm screw on the end of the dash. You can now unclip the dash panel, you will have to move the gearshift down, so park on a level surface so the car wont roll. You can then remove the screws that hold the radio in and pull it out.
