To change spark plugs on a 1994 Toyota Camry, remove the black shafts. The spark plugs are down the four holes. Use a socket set with extension to reach the spark plugs. Replace old spark plugs with new ones.
if you have 2.4l dohv engine, remove the intake tube ,then there is a rectangle black cover with 4 bolts,take that off and you will see spark plugs under it with deep shafts to the plugs.
I remove both front wheels to access all the spark plugs with ease. I also use a standard 3/8" drive spark plug socket along with a 3/8" drive, long "wobble" extension. This combination works for me.
The gap for the plug on all horizontal shafts is .030" and some vertical shafts are .020"
You can not see it just by opening the hood.In 2000 there is a plastic covering on top of the engine, remove it first, by this you will expose 4 spark plug coils, remove 2 nuts that are keeping coil assembly toghether, remove 4 nuts that are holding coils in place (one for each coil), pull coils one by one up. Spark plugs are on the bottom of exposed shafts on the top of the engine.
Remove the fuel tank, Remove air box, Remove spark plug caps, Remove spark plugs ????
The 2013 Chevrolet Spark has front wheel drive.
The 2014 Chevrolet Spark has front wheel drive.
Set the parking brake and disconnect the spark plug wire. Remove the cutting deck and the battery. Loosen the pulley and remove the upper belt. Remove the belt guide and the belt keeper. Loosen the bolt on the crankshaft pulley. Remove the lower drive belt.
You do not need to remove the fuel rail to remove the spark plugs.
Pop the hood open, remove the filter to the carburator, remove 1 spark plug wire boot at the front right side while facing the engine, remove the spark plug, add the new spark plug as well as the spark plug wire boot.
Remove the spark plug wires from the spark plugs, use an extension for your Allen wrench, and use a spark plug socket to remove the spark plug.
