first disconnect the pos and neg battery wait about ten Min's til air bag is discharged. Next remove the cowl around the steering collar remove dash molding be sure to disconnect dimmer switch and rear fan switch when removing dash molding. After you have removed that, there is a screw just above the ignition switch remove this as well. after removal of that screw you should be able to lift the top part of the enough to see the ignition switch. on top of the ignition switch there is a little hole you will need a small pick to disengage the key lock cylinder. be sure to insert key and turn it to the run position. After you have removed the Ignition lock cylinder remove the top have of the cowl. pulling back on the cowl the is still around the collar you should be able to take a flat head screwdriver and push the little clamps away from the gold plated stud that holds the air bag in place do this for both sides and you have successfully removed the airbag.
Under the hood, on the drivers side at the end of the big rubber hose. Remove the 4 screwa on the square housing, replace air filter and re fasten screws. done.
You have to remove the drivers kick panel under the dash, and its near the gas pedal. You just pull it out and silde a new one in, although you dont HAVE to.

Remove the drive belt from the air conditioner compressor. Remove the air conditioning hoses from the compressor. Remove the retaining bolts from the air conditioner compressor.

well its prob the same as the 95-96-97 etc......remove the air cleaner hardware, and the windshield washer bottle... after that, you can see the drain cock...lower drivers side

I believe it is located under the air filter in the air filter box on the drivers side of the engine compatment.

Just open up your hood and the air box is on the drivers side in the front and there is two clips on the top just pop them off and pull the part of the air box with the hose going to the engine and you will be able to remove the old air filter and just put the new one in just how the old one was
