A front wheel drive vehicle is only driven with the front wheels. It will have a transmission in the front with drive lines attached. A two wheel drive vehicle is any vehicle that is only driven by two wheels. It can be a front or rear wheel vehicle. For instance. My dodge ram 1500 v6 is two wheel drive from the rear. An Oldsmobile cutlas cirea is two wheel drive but in the front. I hope this helped. Derek
The fuel filter and lines are in front of the tank on a Dodge Shadow.
Yes
Check 2 vacume lines under body by cross member bar and plug in if out controls vacume to front hubs
THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE IN YOU TRUCK IS ENGAGED/DISENGAGED BY VACUUM LINES,START ON THE FRONT AXLE.THERE IS A BOX THAT HAS A LEVER INSDE THAT LOCKS THE FRONT END IN AND OUT.YOU WILL SEE THE VACUUM LINES COMING OUT OF IT,JUST TRACE THESE LINES BACK TO THE TOP OF THE TRANNY,CHECKING THAT ALL SPLICES AND CONNECTIONS ARE GOOD AND THE LINE HAS NO HOLES.I HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH MY DODGE AND FOUND A HOLE RUBBED IN ONE VACUUM LINE WHERE IT GOES ACROSS THE CROSS MEMBER UNDER TRANNY. YOU CAN CHECK FOUR WHEEL DRIVE BY TAKING OFF VACUUM LINE ON FRONT END AND BLOW AIR IN THE LINE COMING OUT OF THAT BOX WITH AN AIR HOSE(20-30 PSI) IF FOUR WHEEL DRIVE ENGAGES THEN YOU HAVE A LEAK OR SOMETHING IN YOUR VACUUM LINES. GOOD LUCK, ROGER PATTON
The fuel lines on a Dodge Ram are removed by loosening the retaining nut and pulling them from the fitting. Flexible lines can be easily removed while metal lines require specific routing to pull them from the vehicle.
The lines do not go to the oil pan.The lines do not go to the oil pan.
Dodge 2500 and 3500 4x4 trucks use a split front axle that is engaged with vacuum lines that run from the intake to the transfer case then to the front differential. That was true up till 2002, after that the shifter on the axle was electric if it had one at all.
The 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 air conditioning lines are held in place with swivel nuts at each end of the hose. Turn the swivel nuts to the left to remove the air conditioning hoses.
Odds are the diaphragm is shot, in the central axle disconnect (CAD). You need to check if you have vacuum at the front axle, and if the vacuum switches from side to side, when you engage four wheel drive. If it does, your CAD is bad. If not, trace your vacuum lines to find the leak.
Check the vaccum lines to the transfer case
On the front of the transmission, just below where the cooler lines hook on.
