To get to the drain plug you have to remove the front two plastic splash shields to get to the drain plug.
They are behind the front wheels. And then, behind the mud splash shields. You need to take the tires off and have the car on jack stands.
Park the Impala on a level surface and engage the parking brake. Remove the keys from the vehicle's ignition.Crawl underneath the front of the vehicle and use a slotted screwdriver to pry off the splash shield in each wheel well directly in front of both front tires. Once the shields are removed, you can access the screws securing the bumper cover to the fender.Remove the two screws on each side of the bumper cover with a Phillips screwdriver.Remove the bumper cover from the front of the vehicle by pulling it up and off the Impala. You may need another person to help you remove the bumper cover. Install a new bumper cover by placing it onto the front of the Impala.Crawl underneath the Impala again and reinstall the two screws on each side of the bumper cover. Reattach the splash shields to the wheel wells.

it is in the front right hand side under the splash guard. you need to remove the front right wheel and the front part of the splash guard and you will get at it from there. but don't mix up the pipes going to it.

Driver side under car you have to remove plastic splash guard in order to see it, it sit right in front of the transmission, once you remove the splash guard you will see the wire going to it from the battery
It's located at the front of the passenger front fender, inside the plastic splash shield. You would need to remove the horn to get to it.
