Air filter is located behind the drivers seat (in a right hand drive) and is accessed from underneath the vehicle by unscrewing 1 wing-nut to remove the cover, then another wing-nut to remove the filter.
Turn the oil filter counter clockwise to remove it. If the filter has been overtightened, drive an old screwdriver into the filter to provide leverage when turning. Be careful so that you don't drive the screwdriver into the engine block.

If you have small hands and a cold engine you'll be way ahead. In the Hiace you have to remove the drivers seat and the panels under it, including the handbrake. You have buy those metal ramps from Halfords e.g., oil and oil filter, and a oil filter cahin tool. Drive the car on the ramps, so you can get underneath the car. Remove the 7 screws that hold the large cover under the engine, remove the cover. Then you got access to the oil drain and oil filter.
Transmission filter on a 2000 Honda Accord is located under the air filter housing. Remove air filter housing and then locate the Transmission filter. There are a couple of bolts to remove and one can be a bit difficult. Once the old one is removed snap a new one in (there is a spring that you will have to feel by hand to make sure it is in correct). Replace the air filter housing and then you are good to drive.
