Remove the fuel lines. Drain the fuel from the fuel tank. Remove the retaining straps. Reverse the process to install the new fuel tank.
unhook it from both ends and blow air through it Disconnect the line at the carburetor. REMOVE THE FUEL FILTER. Blow air through this portion of the line. If possible, remove the line at the fuel tank and plug the outlet in the tank. Now blow out the line between the filter and the tank.
Begin by training the fuel from your 1995 Chevrolet Corvette fuel tank. Remove the fuel line. Remove the fuel filter retaining plate. Remove the fuel filter retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new fuel filter.

The 1985 Chevrolet Corvette fuel filter can be found next to the fuel tank. The fuel filter will be near the front of the fuel tank.
The fuel pump on an LT type Corvette is removed through the fuel tank door. First disconnect the battery, then vent the fuel pressure. You will be safer if you can store the fuel in the tank somewhere else. Remove fuel tank door, then the screws around the bezel, then the filler door bezel. Remove the rubber fuel tank filler housing. Clean the top of the tank, remove and plug fuel lines. Disconnect wires, remove all of the screws surrounding the filler assembly then remove the sender and pump as a unit. You will want to replace the gasket, the pickup screen and other sundry items. I bet you can figure out how to put it back together!
Open the rear gas tank flap and remove the gas cap and pour it in.
