In my experience this indicates a short/open circuit in one or more of the glow plugs. Remove each in turn and test with a multimeter, but be warned, if one has gone, the other will not be far behind. Had same problem with mine, turned out to be the main red wire going to the glow plug relay had come detached from its connector easy repair 5 mins.Glow plug relay was located just lower down than the battery on the inner wheel arch little black box with wires to and fro Good luck.......

AnswerPerhaps when the glow control relay went bad, the contacts stuck closed causing the glow plugs to burn out. It happened to me, I had to replace all the glow plugs. It now starts every time. The glow plug relay could be bad, poor contacts on the fuse or plug contacts to the relay. Obvious reason is a week battery.

Procedure Two 10mm bolts are visible on the headlight assembly. Remove indicator assembly first. Then you can access and remove the remaining two 10mm bolts on the opposite side of the headlamp Assembly. Remove the Phillips screw that retains the indicator assembly from the top thru the framework then lift gently the indicator UN hooking the retaining lug on the bottom. The rest of the removal should your general mechanical electrical knowledge.
