On the right side of the center console, near the shifter, you'll see a red, square button. That will undo the locking mechanisms allowing you, and another person, to lift the top up and back. Don't forget to unplug the electrical connection on the driver's door jamb (rear window defogger). When you want to have the soft top, hit the same button....in under 15 seconds, the top will secure itself in the up position.

∙ 13y agoTurn the ignition key two clicks right and all the lights on dash come on. Red button next to shift handle is pulled back and top releases unlock and top pops up a little bit. Take another person and with one on each side by the doors lift up and walk to the front or rear and the top is off. Push the red button forward and the convertible top will come out of the boot and lock down when complete, will take around 16 seconds.
