Disconnect the package shelf cords from the hatchback and remove the right upper quarter trim panel.
Separate the wiring harness from the body. Work the harness through the hole in the top of the hatchback opening.
Mark the outline of the hinges on the hatchback for future reinstallation.
While an assistant holds the hatch, detatch the support struts.
With the assistant still supporting the hatch, remove the hinge to hatchback bolts and lift the hatchback off.
