There are three screws holding it on.remove the dip stick,work will go easy.remove the oil sending unit from the adapter.remove the three screwsand that's it.if your adaperwas leaking pay attention to where the oil filter adapter mounts to the engine..mine had some thick deposits built up under the gaskit.had to sand it down.
