the easiest way i have found is to remove them trough the trunk. If it was a luxury you have to remove the boxes that go around it. the hard way is to remove the back dash which takes a while
Answer 2I couldn't get at them that way but I ended up taking 2 screws out of the bottom of the back set cushion. The pulled it out. Took out the 2 screws holding the set belts on (which hold the back cushion on). Pulling that out and last pulling that gray shell thing off. There are 2 black things holding it on that i couldn't get off so i broke them off. Then your there. Real pain in the ass but doesn't take more then a hour.-Mitch
I have a '95 and I just went in the trunk and used pliers to twist the screws upwards and took the speakers out that way. I used #10 screws, lock-washers and nuts to secure the new speakers. The "official" way is to take out the back seat(!) Who designs these things anyway??
