It might be easier to go into the trunk with a pair of pliers and twist up on the screws and remove them that way. I have a 1995 Skylark and did that with mine. It wasn't too hard to do but it's a lot easier than taking out the back seat. If you still want to take the back seat out, try Amazon.com and get an old Chilton's manual for Buicks in these years.

We are doing a 1992 skylark and we turned the bolt to the right. It was very tough to get off because of the lock tight they put on but it came out, now we are having trouble getting the tool in the slots to remove the drum itself.

Try changeing the fuel filter,I had the same problem and it helped.
It's right in the front and off a little to the passenger side. Big round thing with a belt running to it and a fan. You can't miss it.
Remove the speaker covers. Each speaker cover is held in place with two retaining screws. Remove the speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the speakers. Reverse the process to install the new speakers.
