The 1992 Mercedes-Benz 300 rear bumper is held in place with eight retaining bolts. You can remove the rear bumper by removing the retaining bolts.
As you look at the car from the front, it will be behind the bumper cover on the left. You must remove the entire bumper to access it.
You will have to go between front bumper and under the wheel plastic reflector, you will not have to remove any of them, if you lay down on the ground you can reach bulb socket and turn counterclockwise it will lose them up replace bulb with proper one and install it back turning clockwise
You have to remove the front bumper to gain access to sensors.

Remove the screws in the wheel wells and underneath the plastic cover to remove the bumper cover. Then you can see to remove the actual bumper.
