Try using Deep Woods Formula OFF! or other bug spray/pump repellent. The only other solution that I found to work while searching the internet was rubbing alcohol. While there were other solutions listed, nearly all of them had someone state that they did NOT work for them. A quick search on 4 or 5 sites turned up no negatives for the OFF! or rubbing alcohol solutions.
