i would rather not...
it is located behind the glove box you will have to remove the glove box.
chain, to the best of my knowledge belts were never used on the 3800.
Under the hood to the left of the blower motor mounted in the housing on the firewall...
Not sure when this was made but to remove one of the fuel filters, you need to drop the gas tank and find a fuel pump and filter there. The other fuel filter, *if there is one* is somewheres in the engine and i have yet to find it.
Remove the trim plate from the shifter. Remove the instrument/radio trim plate. Remove the right side console extension panel. Remove the heater duct. Reach behind the radio and remove the antenna lead. Remove the radio retaining screws. Pull the radio out and disconnect the electrical connectors. To install the CD player you will to buy an installation kit for a'89 Grand Am (it will have all the parts to mount the CD player and instructions how to install it)
the round button on the Dash above the radio. It is about an inch in diameter.
Remove oil pan
There are two clips that hold the radio in place. You just need to use a hook tool and remove the clips and the radio will slide out.Ê
don't think motor mounts will work - look for 92-99 3800
