I was a little bit hesitant to be very forceful with this, but in the 2010 Toyota corolla the seat is only held in place by a couple of catch pins, one on each side of the seat, about 8 inches in from the side.

You can slide you hand under the seat from the center towards the door and notice when it becomes snug because of the clips. You just need to press your knee on the back of the seat cushion (just as a place to brace yourself) and pull up on the front of the seat near those pins, it will pop right up. Do this on both sides and the seat will come right out.

Putting the seat back in is just the reverse, the only gotcha is there is a little metal bar that sticks off the back of the seat, you just need to line it up as you center the seat to push it back into place and then push it back down into the pin lock holes.
