I SWEAR IT WORKS!!!
First hold down the power key to turn off your computer then when it starts say start windows with safe mode and networking.......do not skip this step or it won't work!!!
Then find security tool, right click on it and hit properties.
Look at the box that says target and copy what it says
paste this into the search box and delete the file it finds
then delete any shortcuts for security on your computer, empty your recycle bin restart your computer and that's it security tool will be gone!!!!!
EXTRA: from Kittie5232. Awesome! It infected my old laptop! I didn't know what to do so I clicked on it DON'T CLICK ON IT IF YOU HAVE IT!! NEVER IT'LL INFECT YOUR LAPTOP OR MAC FOREVER!.
Steps To Beat Security Tool:
1. Once it pops up DON'T CLICK ON IT DO NOTHING! Just shut your lap-top or mac down wait a few minutes then turn it back on it should be gone :)
2. Never return to the website you were on when it popped up Security Tool is a fake Virus Protector all they want to do is ruin your lap top or mac!.
3. Just because you dodged it once doesn't mean it or one of it's cousions won't try to trick you again! It tries to make it seem like your laptop or mac is infected with viruses but it's really not. If you have Norton 360 or something you should know that it's fake! *Not Norton Security Tool*
4. Follow these steps and You'll Be Fine :D BUT: If you don't you'll be sorry it causes damage to your computer if you click on it or do something anything even if you move it it'll infect your computers hard drive! :'(
There ar easier ways...
Ive had the virus 6 times now and the 2 ways ive used to remove the spy wear is...
to wipe the hard drive: this means wiping you memorie, but you might have important documents on it. u could load them onto a removable disk( memory stick) but there may be a chance that the virus has infected those documents.
or load 'mcafee' the most resent upgraded one. it detected the spywear and removed it automatically.but don't spend out loads off money to get ridd off this virus its easally removed.. and to wipe the hard disk is simple.. but don't pay out 80 pounds for someone to do it for you.
hope i helped x

Security Tool is a deadly Trojan virus that will sneak onto your system often without you knowing it. If you keep it inside your computer, Security Tool can degrade your system's performance; consuming precious memory and hogging a huge slice of your CPU's processing activities. It would be difficult to control once it's inside because this harmful malware is designed to load as soon as you boot up your PC.
Security Protection is a fake antivirus software which displays false reports and annoying pop-up alerts to mislead computer users to purchase it. Fake Security Protection doesn't have the function to protect computers from virus, it is nothing but a scam. You can reboot the infected computer to "safe mode" and follow the steps at the related link to manually remove fake Security Protection virus if you are comfortable with your own technical skill. Otherwise, consult a professional.
First disable the security tool by rebooting the computer in safe mode by pressing F8 after the start up, and then opening the task manager to stop all processes that are named with just numbers. Then uninstall it by either finding where the shortcut is located or by searching for the filename which is the same as the process stopped in step one and then deleting it.
You can try manual removal as described here:http://www.2-viruses.com/remove-security-tool

This beast can also be removed manually:http://www.2-viruses.com/remove-security-tool
I think you can remove it from add/remove programs from control panel. Step 1 Click Start - Control Panel - Add/ Remove Programs Step 2 Locate and choose Security Tool and click "Uninstall". Step 3 Click Remove to confirm this removal. It is very easy to operate, and many programs can be removed by this way.

You can try several ways. First of all download a spyware remover, such as Spyware Doctor, and scan your system in safe mode. If you can't seem to get it to work, try downloading on a different computer, renaming the setup file and installing from a flash drive. If the anti-spyware does nothing to fix the problem, try to remove it manually:http://www.2-viruses.com/remove-security-tool
