i just walked in from doing it. gouged up knuckles and all. the passenger side is pretty straight forward. unclip the part of the air intake that holds the filter and move it out of your way. press the release tabs on the wires that plug into the plastic part and unplug them. undo the bolts that hold the the plastic thing on (if i remember correct their on the bottom right of the plastic thing if looking at the motor from the side of the truck). the long plastic tubes will now pull right out. undo the plugs with a socket and extension.
the driver side is definitely a bastard. you do it the same way, only it will take a long time and gouge out a few of your knuckles. hope it goes smoother for you that it did for me.
