There's caps on the left and right side of the terminal, pop them off with a screw driver, and remove them one is 8mm the other is 10mm.
It means you are having a problem with the charging system. Have the alternator and battery checked. Good Luck!!!
The Alternator is held by "two bolts" located at the top(12mm) and bottom (14mm). Remember to disconnect positive side of battery. First loosen 10mm nut that holds positive cable at back top of the alternator, then unplug wire harness on back. Second remove the 12mm bolt at top form the back. Third remove 14mm bolt at bottom form front. When you remove these bolts you should be able to loosen and pry out with a flat screw drive.
yes more than likely check the alternator belt first do
Under the bonnet! You can't miss it!
check the alternator at any auto parts, if it's good, check for bad wires, fuses and relays, but normally and for that year, if it's never been replaced it has to be the alternator. I had that problem in my 1992 few months ago. check the main fuse that's next to the battery
Weak or dead battery Loose or corroded battery cables Blown fuse or fusable link
a) car service center b) private car mechanic c) hammer d) shotgun e) locate the battery and remove it
There are a number of reasons why your Toyota Previa will not start. You should ensure that the battery is working properly, that the engine is able to pump fuel and if you cannot resolve the problem, you should call a mechanic.
Try changing the starter.
I have that problem check the water level of your battery, i find if i top up battery water, the flashing stops.
In a 91 Previa, most of the fuses are under the top panel, at center of dash. There is a small release botton, under the lip of the dash panel, above the radio. There are some main fuses under the hood, by the battery.
Toyota Previa was created in 1990.
