how to remove glove box in 1993 camry
On my 2002 Accord, you have to remove the glove box - it's a hassle and it takes about an hour, but try looking into that.
Assuming it's the same as a 94 C1500, Open the glove-box, remove the screws across the top and bottom, remove the cables that support the glove-box door, remove the glove box door, remove the glove box compartment. I have a 95 K1500, you just have to squeeze the top of the glove box, clear the mount and then remove the plastic strap on the left side, and then open the glove box fully it just fall down, no need to unscrew anything.
right side of dashboard under glove box .do not remove glove box. rectangle cover with 4 t25 torx screws
Open the glove box and you should see a single screw on the back of the latch. Simply unscrew this and the latch should come out.
Remove the glove compartment cover and there is a fuse box located behind there
Fuse #4 in the fuse panel behind the glove box is the one to remove to defeat the door switch (if you remove the doors). The interior lights will still operate by the light switch only. There is a graphic of this fuse panel attached to the back of glove box that you can see when the glove box is removed. To access this fuse panel, lower the glove box and remove the retaining strap by sliding it to the right. The glove box can then be lowered enough to allow it to be removed. Reassemble in the opposite order.
