Using a flat blade screwdriver, loosen the large hose clamps, disconnect the sensor connector(s) and pull it off.
Air Cleaner (Element) Removal & Installation1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. 2. Remove the outlet tube clamp from around the air cleaner element housing and remove the tube from the air cleaner housing. Position the tube out of the way. 3. Remove the air cleaner element from the air cleaner housing. 4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
Remove the intake tube and you'll see it under the throttle body. Its a pain to get to the two bolts holding it, you will have to feel your way around to get to the bolts. Unbolt it and remove it, when you remove it clean it with carb cleaner or brake cleaner and let it dry completely.

The throttle body is located off of the air cleaner box. Just follow the big black tube from your air cleaner. Remove the top portion of your air cleaner box and the entire tube. It's at the end of that.

The intake air temperature sensor is on the tube between the air cleaner and the throttle body.
Follow 1/2 inch tube from air cleaner on right side of car behind headlight bucket.
It is under the intake tube from the air cleaner. You have to remove the air box to get to it. GM had a great idea with this placement .....
